Personally, I think the Labatt Blue Bowl or maybe a hybrid: Labatt Blue Great North Bowl.

I like Great North Bowl, and I agree that Labatt would be a nice sponsorship. The two major beers you mentioned have strong city and hockey ties, and Labatt is with Toronto and the Leafs. Molson is more associated with Montreal and the Canadiens, so they're not as viable in that market. Tim Hortons, the Ontario-based food mart, would be another good choice as they're always looking to increase their U.S. exposure.

I'm fine with Toronto Bowl.

I like having the name of the city in the bowl. The corporate sponsor can come before the name of the city.

For example: The Tampax Heavy Flow Toronto Bowl.

I wish the Charlotte Bowl was simply called that with the Meineke Car Care sponsor in front of it. The Meineke Car Care Charlotte Bowl.

You gave me a real chuckle there, Murph. Let's hope feminine hygiene products don't sponsor any bowls. 03-wink

I wonder if the NCAA would allow brewing companies to sponsor bowls. That certainly seems like something brewing companies would desire. When I watch a football game, I never get the urge to go out to buy tires, but I frequently run out at half-time for a six-pack.

Jim

p.s. You'd never get me out of my chair to get my wife a Tampon! 04-cheers

I don't think the NCAA would like a beer sponsorship, though I also like that the most.

Other than that, the Toronto bowl makes the most sense.
