The winner of the SU(NY), Rutgers(NJ), Uconn (Conn) get the "rivalery" trophy. This would help bring the 3 schools closer and help alienate BC even more :D

I think that is a good idea...Penn St, Pitt and West Virginia had a rivalry trophy back in the day

It may alienate the new football members to the Big East - so you may want to wait a few years. Some sports writers will jump all over that.

Yep.....the UL/WVU "rivalry trophy" is called the Braxton trophy

UC and UL play yearly for the " KEG OF NAILS" trophy it is a long time tradition started by the Frats over 60 years ago. It goes to the winning team..... who is supposed to be tougher! UC also plays Miami Ohio for the Victory Bell. Both trophy's are passed annually to the winner until the next game where they sit on the sideline of the winning team etc.

UofL plays for three trophies...
1. THE GOVERNORS CUP
2. The Keg of Nails
3. The Braxton Trophy

Who will be next?
I wish FAU was competitive or we had a annual game with Miami and we played for "The Pipe". That would be ultimate!
Realistically I'd like to get a trophy going with USF if their was anything interesting to play over.
