Well, opinions aside, it's a moot point since it's officially in the book as a win for Louisville. That being said, we'll never know how good the game was because UC's star player didn't play in that game. As good as Louisville was playing offensively Cincinnati was clearly the #2 offensive team in C-USA over the last 2 months of the season. And when you take out the #1 cog in that offense obviously it's going to effect the team. Cincinnati was ripping through some of the best defenses in the league, and in the country. Even when we lost to Syracuse there were 21 points we fumbled away so it's not like Cincinnati couldn't have put up 50 something points against Louisville. And Louisville definitely wouldn't have put up 70 against Cincinnati since Gino would have allowed UC to control the game much better then they did. But, without a passing game, Louisville was able to stack the box against UC's running game, and the defense consistently had bad field position. As a result everything fell apart. It would have fallen apart against anyone, not just Louisville. As I mentioned before, in Cincinnati's losses Gino played horribly.

Look, arguing is useless, that's my opinion, you have your opinion, that's all that can be stated. I do know there are some people who share my opinion. I remember ESPN football analyst saying that if Gino played Cincinnati would have had a chance to pull off an upset, but without Gino they didn't. When you score nearly 50 points against Memphis and then go into Hattiesburg and drop 50+ points you can score against anybody, especially when Cincinnati was playing with the second unit later in that game. And when you lose the leader of that offense then sh*t hits the fan.

70-7 leaves a mark and it could have been worse. Just take the beating and stop with the what ifs. No one was competitive with us on our home field last season and UC jumped the bird.
