They just lost AT HOME. Discussion over.

An undefeated Okie State AND an undefeated Stanford should be ahead of them and play LSU in the title game before 'Bama should get considered.

Also, if Oregon happens to beat Stanford and their only loss is to LSU at a NEUTRAL FIELD then Oregon should be ranked AHEAD of Alabama.

The SEC is JUST ANOTHER CONFERENCE.

The best part is that if LSU loses, there will still be folks crying for at least one SEC team to be in the title game, even if there are two BCS Undefeated Conference Champs.

Oklahoma State vs. Stanford for the National Title!

In OT to the #1 ranked team. Frankly, if it weren't for stupid OT, then you'd have the argument that each should be co-#1.

You can't win the National Championship, or even PLAY for it, if you can't even win your own conference.

Period.

I think you mean "You shouldn't be able to win the..."

But alas, it is the BCS.

With Bama falling to 3rd....If LSU and Alabama win out...isn't there a decent chance that they meet again for the National Championship?

Does anyone know what would happen if the SEC East team beats an undefeated LSU team, Oregon knocks off Stanford, OU beats OK State, and Bama wins out? It is possible judging from Bama's miniscule fall that Bama and LSU would be #1 and #2, but I was under the impression that only two teams from a single conference can fill BCS slots. Obviously Georgia would be in, but would the #3 team replace the #2 team or would Bama and LSU play with 3 SEC teams in the BCS.

+1,000,000

Saban (and in fact most of the SEC) recruits like scumbags.

Sadly, yes, and if that happens I'm through with College Football.

+1

I lose interest more and more every year. The Bull$hit Caste System makes it the most un-American sport out there. If you aren't born into the right conference, you have a glass ceiling over your head that prevents you from being eligible for a title. Think you have the best team and simply want a chance to prove it? Too bad. You should have had the foresight to be naturalized into a different conference.

The only TRADISHUN between NIU and Alabama is NIU embarrassing the Tide in Tuscaloosa.
