Man thats Rutgers stadium on a bad day in the one shot with noone in the stands. It couldn't have been MSU or Homecoming thats for sure. The pictures are of this year since the walls were only painted scarlet just this past year and they look great in scarlet.

brista,

That was the only picture I could find. I think that was before a game so there were likely a lot more fans there. Terrific stadium you guy's have. Cant wait for a roadtrip there!

On a personal note, I continue to dislike seeing college teams playing in NFL stadiums. All those pics were gorgeous, but I hated seeing Steelers and Buccaneers in the endzones. Just my personal opinion.

Well in 2006 would seem to be the year we play host to all you fine folks. As a student I'm going to be trying to tailgate every game this season and even if I don't I'm always there. In 2006 I will probably fly to Cincy to take in the road game there since its easy to fly there on Delta.

A little FYI, the "Cincinnati" airport is not even in Ohio, its in Northern Kentucky. If you're interested, you can fly into the NKY/Cinci airport and once you hop in a car you could be at Cardinal Stadium in 1 hr and 20 minutes (or so).

Oh I'm well aware of where the airport is have flown to and through there several times. Its really just over the river. However yes thats a good point that Louisville is only like an hour away, I would certainly consider renting a car and driving out to Louisville to see a game and the grounds and the city itself.

I like the two tone turf at Rutgers. I am looking forward to seeing a game at WVU. I don't like college teams in pro stadiums either. All in all it looked pretty good. It'll look even better once PJCS is expanded.

Yes the Cincy stadium does not even look like those pics anymore.
In fact there is no turf at all right now as the new logos of the Big east and the C Paw are added to an all new field turf. The end zone is well amazing now and there will be a new double the current size jumbo tron installed.

Murph...........I see your point on schools playing on pro fields....but on game day in Pittsburgh for the Panthers....the field becomes all Pitt...steelers black and gold come off the field and Panthers blue n gold go on. Also that walls all around the field are covered with Pitt Panther logos. One point to keep in mind, the field was built for both the Steelers and Panthers. The Iron gates as you enter the field alternate between Steelers logos and Pitt logos. Its not like after the field was built, that Pitt made a deal to use the field. This was done prior to the field being built. Its also nice for recruiting. This "could" be a trend with "some" colleges in the future due to expenses.

Hail to Pitt
