haha, let's dissect what i said about your coach, 1. fat - well he certainly isn't skinny, 2. overpaid - 0-11 season sure seems overpaid, the other disgraced coach mike price didn't seem to have any problems, 3. lying - well we all know that's true, 4. player beating - if you want i'll post the espn article.
silly knights, i don't know where you get this idea that we think we're the next miami, wasn't ucf the one claiming they are "light years ahead of usf" and didn't they also proclaim that they would rule the mac and jump to a better conference (how'd that turn out anyway?).
you're right, beat us and you can throw this all back in our face, till then we have every right to poke fun at you, lighten up

The BE MUST secure at least 4 bowls going into next year and beyond. With the NCAA going to 12 game seasons, the NCAA is probably going to allow 6-6 teams to go bowling without the need for an 'special note' from the NCAA. And since many teams are going to get 1-AA teams as OOC games you may only have to finish 3-5 in conference to go bowling as long as you go 3-1 OOC.
On the thought about ND and the Gator. That really doesnt surprise me since the Gator is broadcast on NBC. I wonder what the contract will be though and when ND can be selected. It is of note that ND does have a special deal with the Cotton Bowl as well, but I cant remember the last time ND were chosen in this era of predetermined bowl slots. The Cotton is the Big12 vs. SEC.
Now that the Gator is going to be gone from the BE bowl slots ND really doesnt have access to a NYD bowl besides the BCS (and neither was the BE).

It'll be interesting to see if the definition for bowl eligibility remains to be .500 record or above with this 12-game schedule. I think that any team going to a bowl game should have a minimum of 7 wins so that no one will finish below .500 even with a bowl loss. The question then I guess is whether there'll be 56 teams that can garner the 7 wins to become bowl eligible.

Great point! I thought I read that part of the ruling was that Division I-AA wins would always count as Division I-A wins. I guess that would make it easier to have 7 wins count as the necessary number to become bowl eligible.

Overpaid? It figures that someone with your lack of intelligence would judge his salary off of one season.
I'd rather have an overweight coach who graduates all of his players than a coach who takes in thugs, lies for them to keep them out of jail, cheats on his wife, and acts like a clown on the sideline every game.
