Both Eddie Pastilong (WVU athletic director) and Bob Marcum (MooU AD) were on talk radio this morning talking about a possible series.

Despite what was reported in the Huntington media, nothing is agreed. Pastilong made it clear that he is holding firm to a 3-1 series. Marcum said he thinks a 2-1 is fair, but said nothing is agreed.

We'll see how it shakes out. I'm hoping it doesn't happen. We don't need another CUSA team on our schedule, we already play ECU every year. We need to strengthen our schedule, not weaken it.

Ed said that if nothing develops in the next couple weeks with Marshall, then we will seek a 1 for 1 with an SEC, ACC, or Big 10 school (pleeeeease Penn State, pleeeease Penn State).

Needless to say, we'd be better off playing a school from one of those three conferences. Long term contracts with mid-majors is not good for the Big East's rep.

Penn State would definitely be my top choice. I'm not sure if they would be interested in the game, though. But a 1-1 with ANY team from a BCS league would beat a 3-1 against Marshall.

UVA would be nice. Or NC State. Although, we are already playing an ACC team in Maryland, and an SEC team in Miss. State, so maybe the Big 10 makes the most sense.

Kick the shite out of Kentucky. Its a boarder war, their fans never take losses well plus they are an easy SEC win. Lots of fun for all.

L-Yes...I would love to see the WVU/UK football series going again...it would be great for the WVU fans in southern WV to have a close road game in Kentucky every year...but from the way you guys talk Kentucky wouldn't be intersted
