HOnestly, I think you're mad because SYR is leaving the BE. Nothing more- nothing less. "this stain wont wash-cuse basketball will have that "ick"feeling for quite some time now." I think that's pretty immature.

Thats all this is. This guy has that bitter left behind feeling.

Yea Davis was living at Fine's house and sleeping with his wife since high school. This is why I think she is sympathic to his story on the tapes. She doesn't want to upset him and have him go public with their relationship since he was going public with Fine's assusation.

But you're sleeping with the guys wife and you owe the guy $5,000 and he's pushing you around asking for his money and so you say he molested you from age 12 to age 27, everyday for 15 years.

That's how I think this will play out.

boy is your head in the sand. it's obvious u are a cuse fan. mrs fine is as big a creep as Fine b/c she let it happen and then she slept with him(when he was 18 after the abuse by Fine had gone on since this kid was in the seventh grade). Maybe cuse fans and the catholic church will agree with that B.S. you just spewed, but from any other vantage point this is bad. as far as espn sitting on this story it's not surprising considering the network is littered with cuse alum. (btw this is the lead story on cnn-they spent a long time on this- the today show and all the morning shows will no doubt spend a lot of time on this)

Boeheim was never going to keep the seat empty. Fabricio Melo, who Fine is/was close too, made the suggestion. Then the rest of the players agreed. You should know what you're talking about, before you start ripping at a persons integrity.

Yeah and one of the CNN reporters questioned the culpability of ESPN holding the recording for close to nine years.

The ACC must love the headlines their newest member is generating. And no, Big east fans aren't complaining about Syracuse's departure. A last place football team and a basketball program under a cloud of child sex abuse charges is nothing any conference, or their fans, wants to be associated with.

The ACC gives as much of a crap, as the B1G does about the Penn State scandal.

You're nothing but a troll anyway. I won't respond to any of your further posts.

So boeheim never even once ventured into the hotel room of his close personal friend for over 30 years on a road trip? Me thinks Boeheim protests too much. In my opinion Boeheim saw that kid in the room, knew something was wrong (the ick feeling comes to mind) but chose to ignore it. By his inaction or possibly his active cover up of this incident caused more kids to get molested. But boeheim thinks, what's a couple of molested kids comapred to Melo and a national championship? disgusting.

No one really cares what you think. Your thinking is flawed.

i know- u just want this to go away. you can try and pretend this isnt happening but those kids that Bernie molested can't escape their nightmares. you can try and dodge this all you want but it isnt going away

Going by your logic we need the United States of America to shut down the Catholic Church and throw the pope, any pope, in jail.
i was raised catholic and the systematic raping of children and subsequent cover up has never fully been dealt with by law enforcement in this country. If the Pope had any knowledge or participated in any cover up for pedophile priests then YES he should be thrown in jail.

That is BS. You want Boeheim fired and the basketball team shut down for Fine being a monster. By your idiotic logic the Pope needs to be thrown in jail and the church barred from operating in america. Has nothing to do with what the pope knew because you are not giving Boeheim that same benefit of the doubt. Stop being a hypocrit because you are mad Cuse is on to the ACC while Cincy is playing in whatever is left of the Big East.

I believe what ever is done to PSU will be done to Syracuse, also, by the NCAA. Both are already lost causes in the Court of Public Opinion. 07-coffee3

It's sickening to read one set of fans using a child abuse scandal to take their frustrations out on a departing team.

And it's no less sickening to read the departing team's fans use the same scandal to take pot shots at the conference they're departing.

Yeah, it's not about abused kids. It's about US.

The only thing the NCAA is going to do is hand us the trophy in March and jot down in their record books that we once again lead the nation in attendance home/away. The rest of you will continue to launch baseless accusations as a way to elevate your program after getting beat down and most will say how we are an embarrasement all the while crying about keeping us in the conference for the next two years. If you guys are all concerned I suggest you create a petition to let Marrantino release us early from our Big East contract. Please do.

I picked us to finish near the bottom of the Big East in football.

My basic point was the NCAA can do absolutely nothing to Syracuse in this particular instance because the institution never lost control and even called on an outside party to investigate issues.

Big issue is when this tape was made and when ESPN got ahold of it. Syracuse University never had it in 2005. This third accuser has claimed he was molested around the time the tape would have been made and been available to ESPN which puts them on the hot seat not Syracuse or Boeheim.

Yea, Bernie was fired. Unless he charged this week, I think the uniersity over-reacted.

Cantor used the taped conversation from his wife as the reason but I think looking at how his wife slept with the boy it got too dirty. I think Davis is lying and most of the evidence points to that.

The comments about this on ths board really have nothing to do with the facts in this case. Just some disgruntal, frankly new BE fans who think they'll miss us so much they are consumed with hate and jealously.

Since all the activities took place at the Fine home, nothing shold effect the University but I'm sure the SYR haters will try to link Boeheim to this so this is where it gets crazy- though Fine has not yet been charged with any crime. It really goes to show how a bitter person who has a failed life can bring others down with them.

Fine can't be charged in the Davis case. The issue is if this new case has any valididy and it doesn't look like it does from here. So by firing FIne this basically closes the deal for SYR U. Since only Davis had the tapes, the University can't be mad at Fine for not bringing them forward.

Yea they hate us so much they can't let us go because we bring in the NCAA money as the highest rated BB team in the conference. Be making the rounds to give you guys the good-buy smackdown a little later this season.

That's trought ticket sales and stuff that is not shared wtih the rest of the BE. NCAA money is shared with the conference so that's what counts here. SYR is more bankable in the tournament than Louisville is.
