Haven't seen anyone post on this and wondering what everyone's opinions on Alabama v LSU for National Championship.

My take: They may be the best two teams in the country...........who really knows.........but........Alabama had their shot at #1 and lost. There's a 1 loss OK State out that that ripped Oklahoma and alot of other teams. But that Offense going up against LSU's defense would be a great game to watch.....SEC / B12 fan or not. And what if Bama wins and it's a 3 point low scoring game like last time. Bama is crowned the National Champion and didn't win their division or their conference and lost earlier to LSU. Something ain't right there IMHO. So whether Bama deserves the rematch or not..........what's everyone's take?? Will you watch the rematch??

The first game was boring enough already. So no.

Not watching on principle. We really need a playoff, and to wipe away the corrupt stain of bowl games determining matchups instead of scoreboard.

no... plain and simple, I don't even think the best two teams are playing, so why should i "further" the appearance that they got it right?

It should be OSU vs LSU...

Not sure why there is so much outrage over this. Its the same ole sh!t every year. If OSU doesn't lose to Iowa State there isn't even a controversy here.

People should be more pissed off over the Sugar Bowl match up. IMO

Then I declare Tulsa national champs. They lost to Oklahoma State, Boise State, Houston, and Oklahoma.

They lost in OT on the road on the same day they found out 2 members of their University died in a plane crash. Bama beat a bunch of 6-6 SEC teams and 3 patsies OOC.

If LSU loses do they play best 2 out of 3?

So beating PSU in Happy Valley is beating a patsy? Is beating #7 Arkansas 38-14 beating a 6-6 SEC team? Alabama's wins are just as impressive as Oklahoma State's so you have to factor in who both teams lost to.

they were the women's basketball coaches. Not exactly close friends of the players. It's not like someone connected with the team died

Now there's my point. Alabama may be a better team overall than OSU, who knows, but they had their chance. Everyone pretty much knew after the first month of the season, that the team to beat was LSU. Bama had their chance (at home in Tuscaloosa by the way) and couldn't get it done. Does OSU beat Bama straight up on a neutral field, who knows, but after the whippin they gave OU the other nite, I tend to wonder. It just goes back to confirming that a playoff of some type is needed.

There might be alot of people out there that are gonna watch the rematch, but so far the poll here is confirming that alot aren't interested in watching it. It will be interesting to see what the Ratings are after the game. If they're lower than the NC from a year ago (which I expect they will be) that ought to have some implications.

'bama has the better loss. But whether or not Alabama is the better team can only be determined on the field, your opinion to the contrary not withstanding...
