Massimino may return to college ranks in Palm Beach

Rollie Massimino, who coached Villanova to the NCAA national championship 20 years ago, could be returning to college basketball soon to help Northwood University in Palm Beach, an NAIA school, launch a basketball program.
Massimino, 70, hasn't been involved in college coaching since he left Cleveland State in March 2003. He lives in Jupiter with his wife.
"We have been talking for about a year," Massimino said, "but there are some details that need to be completed before I can say anything else. Where this goes is really up to Northwood."
Northwood's basketball program would not be launched until 2006.
