Too bad Charlie could have used another year in college. He has been wanting to go since high school.

UCONN will be fine with Boone, Nelson, Bynum and Hilton Armstrong. We will be loaded next year. With Kellogg and Ryan Thompson gone, I expect UCONN to pick up another top combo guard in the country.

Its a strange world indeed when a kid who only averages 13 pts per game can go pro early...not sayin Charlies isn't talented but another year in college would have helped

Yes. Charlie is not ready. He has improved in a huge way under Calhoun in the last couple years. He could have been the man in Storrs but he won't now. Instead, Rudy Gay will be next big star out of UCONN and a possible #1 pick in the NBA for 2006.

UCONN is loaded with NBA talent.

Josh Boone, Rudy Gay and Marcus Williams are all 1st round locks. Charlies is mid to 2nd round type of player. Denham Brown and Rashad Anderson can develop into NBA players but no where close right now. AJ Price could be a very nice player like Ben Gordon.

Incoming freshman Andrew Bynum is a NBA talent. Other incoming freshmen Marcus Johnson and Jeff Adrien are hard to assess at this point.

UCONN will be fine for the next couple of years unless half of the team leaves for the NBA.

Just hurt UCONN's Marcus Williams is looking maybe leaving for the NBA as well. Whats going on? I know we are a NBA factory but 2 kids leaving early is just too much to handle at this point.
