UCF ON TAP: C-USA commissioner Britton Banowsky said initial indications are that USF's required C-USA football opponent will be UCF.

As part of USF's exit agreement from C-USA, the Bulls must play one C-USA team a year for five years as agreed upon by the C-USA and Big East commissioners.

USF and UCF already are scheduled to play the next two seasons with an option for the 2007 and 2008 seasons.

Banowsky said he hoped to finalize the C-USA opponents for the C-USA teams leaving the league in the next few weeks. Banowsky said TV officials have indicated they are interested in televising future USF-UCF contests.

Win Win for both schools

How many fans travel from UCF to USF and vice versa for these games?

USF v ucf have not ever played in footBULL yet. I would hope that 10K from each school would travel to the away game. The distance is only 90 miles. 04-cheers

The more news that hits the press re the C-USA split, the more I think Banowsky cheated on the Bar.

Totally looking forward to the games, but I can't help but be annoyed that 5-game series should be a gauranteed 7-gamer. UWCF really lucked out.

the only thing USF and UCF fans can agree on is that these games will be well attended. The game in Tampa next season should have a big crowd. The game eventually should appeal to TV, simply becuse of the TV markets.

I hope ECU continues to play USF. We need to win a few games to even our record against the Bulls.

I hope so. As I have said before, Great roadie. Sept & Oct & Nov surf is good in Atlantic Beach & Surf City plus I traveled to bith USF v ECU games and enjoyed Greenville and partying with ECU fans before and after the games. Found ECU fans fun.

I really hope the series continues into the Big East! 04-cheers

ECU fans are good people...they were good hosts when I saw a game there.
