Assuming UofL and Pitt will be ranked when the season starts, who could be next? Obviously it would depend some on who is receiving some votes outside the top 25.

West Virginia opens at Syracuse, but probably won't rise much with a win over Wofford in their 2nd game; I'm not sure how good Maryland is this year for their 3rd game, but 3-0 could do it.

Syracuse has a chance to make some noise after 4 games with: West Virginia, Buffalo, Virginia, at Florida State

It looks like most of UConn's quality wins wouldn't come until later in the season; might be hard for them to get ranked before then.

USF opens at Penn State, but will probably have to beat Louisville in game 4 and go 4-0 to start closing in on a ranking.

Cincy goes to Penn State too, for their 2nd game, but probably will have to beat Pitt in game 5 and go 5-0 to start approaching the rankings.

Rutgers opens at Illinois, but would probably have to beat Pitt, WV, and Syracuse and go 6-0 to get consideration.

I don't know, just some thoughts, maybe I'm way off on things.
