I'm sure they would rather play the mighty BearCats. You weren't selected by the Big East because of your football history or lack thereof. 05-nono
If we're going to be doormats what does that make Memphis? And what does that make C-USA since we finished in the upper half of the conference the majority of the time we were there and won a conference championship?

Look, Psicko, you're the moron.

When you look at the two supplicants for Big East membership (Memphis and East Carolina) and look at the quality of their fans, it's clear to me who is the better all around choice.

Memphis fans (you, sir, in particular) are petulant, cry-babies who are so incensed at being left behind that they would rather bad-mouth Cincinnati and the Big East than speak positively about why they should be included in future expansions - and leave it at that.

The Big East forums I am associated with have shown East Carolina in a far more favorable light, and their fans to be far more positive than your negative spew.

You have a lot of nerve to accuse me of being an idiot, my fine friend.

If I was mistaken about the significant and far-reaching catholic populations of western Tenn then I truly apologize. However, I do not see (personally) why Notre Dame would stoop to playing Memphis (nee Memphis State).

You alone have badmouthed Memphis more than any Memphis fans have bashed Cincy.

I have a huge amount of respect for Cincy and our long, rich rivalry with you guys. Personally, I find Cincy fans in general to be pretty easy get along with. Douchenozzles like yourself, however, are a notable exception.

Weak, looping girly slaps like that prove a Memphis fan banged your mom when you were a child (in which case, I suppose it could have happened mere weeks or months ago), and you've been resentful ever since.

No offense Psicosis, but for you to say anything about the history of UC football is just dumb... Memphis hasn't exactly had any great history in the sport either. I hope to see Memphis in the Big East with UC, but if Memphis gets in it also won't be because of their great history on the football field.

I didn't say a ******* thing about Cincy. The only reason Cincinnati is even a topic of discussion in a thread about Memphis and Notre Dame is because that blithering idiot who keeps getting off his leash and posting to this forum can't help but bash Memphis at every corner and downplay Cincy's rivalries with Memphis and Louisville in order to somehow look better in front of the "cool kids."

My bad, Psicosis, it was tigercat that said it. He should not have said anything about the history of UC football. :)
