Check out the student section for many of this year's games - very disappointing as well, and those seats are near the floor!

Students should be back next year for the new teams. Not sure how you do student tickets at Cinci. Syracuse used to give students assigned seats--actually that hurt student attendance.

When they (SU Admin) went to a first come first serve on games the interest increased. Students now wait before games to rush in and get the best seats. They are there early and hyped since they sometimes have waited several hours in line.

I'm nolonger a student and have not been for many years, but from what I understand student tickets are free and must be picked up prior to the game at the ticket office. Any unclaimed student tickets are placed on sale to the public a day or so before the game.

I would expect UC's attendance to increase with the Big East teams coming to twon next year.

There is also some talk that after all of the current construction is finsished, changes to Fifth Third Arena or a new basketball facility will be completed.

Cinci and other BE teams would be smart to make the student seating areas general admission--first come first serve. Syracuse limits the number of students in the section by using a colored wristband which is given to the students before the game.
