-- First of all...I watched the UL/Marqutte game last night...and wow...what an exciting game....we have a ton of problems on the football side but the bball league is going to fun to watch while its in place

-- I was shocked to see the media's response to Virginia Tech beating Duke....VT has been a bball joke for yrs in the BE and now they are suddenly very comptitive...if VT had beating Uconn last year the national media would have used that to say how poor BE hoops is...but when VT beats Duke it is because the ACC has so much depth

-- Again...I wouldn't be shocked next year if the 12 team ACC is still seen has being better then the 16 team BE by the media...despite the fact that 10- 11 NBE schools will be in the NCAA tourney this year...the national media seems incapable of even considering the idea that a better hoops league then the ACC may exist

ESPN lives to slob on the knob of the ACC. That will never change.

Lets see, Virginia Tech and Miami, two Big East round ball also rans, holding their own in ACC competition. Yeah...your right the ACC is so tough....   I didn't even know they played basketball at Miami and the Hokies, well they have sucked since their Metro days. Nice to see somethings NEVER change...... :D

Not to mention VT in FB--They basically were outstanding in 99. Before and after they would usually go 4-3, 5-2 in the Big East. In 2003 they finished 4th in the BE with a 4-3 record. Going to the ACC and their record improved dramatically---makes you go hmmm
