Why do you want your games on a network that's in all of about 10 homes in the U.S. at the moment?

MT is very good commish...he doesn't have the easiert job in the world representing the interstes of three distinct bodies (football shools, bball onlys and ND)....its not his fault that PEnn St wasn't invited (gavitt was the commisioner then and blame goes to the small catholic schools who voted no) or that the football schoools did't split ( he can't make the football presidents do anything)

-- the MWC decesion to go to CSTC is a gamble....certinaly a conference with the markets/history that we have can afford not to take gambles like that...if CSTV is a great success...I'm sure they will want our league involved latter...if not it doesn't hurt us a bit....besides we have three years left on our current ESPN/ABC football contract...we couldn't have left if we wanted to...and I'm sure we didn't want to jump to CSTV...Fox sports maybe...but not CSTV

I think that would be absolutely the dumbest thing the Big East could do right now. You want to get your network on as much of the country as possible, and outside fo the MWC territory in the west that will not be on cable networks. You will probably be able to pay more to get it, but it won't be part of any standard package. I'd personally like to see the BE get a deal with Fox, and have a national game each weekend and then have regional games on the Fox Sports networks.

Exactly. We'll trade any day. We'll even throw in a deputy commissioner to be named later.
