Not being naive, but if they did rig the Computer polls the media would be all over it and the whole system would come crumbling down. So you are telling me all the coaches and voting media along with the 6 computer polls are going to rig the system and no one find out about. I aint buying that one.

You are implying that there is a conspiracy to rig the polls. That is not the case at all. Its just that they all know what is in their best interest...its just a big money grab, nothing more or less. Their best interest is to have nebraska, not oregon. Their best interest is to have OU and USC, not Auburn. It will work that way every time.
Utah would not have been included if it were not for all the politics and legalities of the past year, the Ohio State AD said it best, "we lost the public relations war."
That is why the major schools do not want a playoff. Why risk being knocked out in the first round by Boise State when you have a guarentee right now as it is.

If all of the teams in your conference play each other you have a true championship. :)
