Notice – average BCS School spend over $30 millions on athletic and you wonder why they want to keep all the BCS money. We want to talk about fairness. But you want to be subsidizing from BCS schools. Remember BCS was created by BCS conferences. I understand, we are want equal access but are we willing to pay the price?

I'm sorry, where did you get these numbers? I doubt their validity simply on the basis that Louisville is operating easily in the black.

I think it is time for UCONN to expand the stadium to 60K to content with the big boys. Those OSU football revenue is sick. I hope all the schools in the BE focus on winning instead of making money only.

Any idea of when UConn would expand their stadium? I know Louisville's AD has stated that before 2006 would be ideal given the attractive home slate (UK, supposedly WVU, and Miami).

The Huskies and the Cards are in almost the exact same situation with attendance numbers/stadium capacity so I would assume they are also close to expanding.

I'm guessing our deficit is largely because of Varsity Village. It'll be well worth it.

No kidding, though, UC's football needs to get it in gear (attendence-wise, that is).

No idea yet. This is only our 2nd year in the stadium. The stadium is built to expand easily to 55K. Beyond that, I am not so sure but all it takes is money.

UCONN sold out every single game this year except the game against Murray Sta (drew 36K for that game). I believe the fan support is definitely there. Once we win some big games against big time opponents, we will be able to draw more and then, only then, they will expand the stadium. I am looking forward to UCONN having a 60K stadium and have it rocking when it is full.

We need to win some huge BCS-type games and things will be rolling.

It was designed to expand to 50K easily. After that, the architecs will have to get a little creative.
