The Big 12 hasn't signed a media deal yet. Negotiations have been going on but no signed deal. You don't hire The PAC's television guru as your new commissioner after you sign your new media deal.

Anyone that followed what the Pac-12 did recently in regards to expansion and their new TV deals would realize there was only ONE "TV Guru" in the Pac-12...and that was former TV Executive and New Pac-10/12 Commish Larry Scott.

Then Stanford President and now Big 12 Commish Bowlsby worked with other Pac-12 Presidents to basically hand stamp all of Scott's suggestions/actions.

Actually the Mayans didn't state that would be the end of the world at all, it was an archeologist. In fact, researchers have found Mayan calendars with later dates than the "end of the world".

Maybe those Mayans were in denial of the truth?

I wonder what kind of TV deal the Mayans had. I'm sure they had to deal with issues of expansion.

I didn't say anything about the Mayan's. Just was in the mood for a good date. 12/21/2012 seemed like a good date to me.
