Actually, yes. (A football game, anyway.) I think it was Princeton vs. Cornell. (This was when NBC Sports was Versus and NBC wasn't owned by Comcast yet.)

You can add up everyting you just said and it would be outweighed by a bag of $hit....

I forgot to mention Hockey East, which NBC has also signed. College hockey starts in October. MLS runs until November. Even if NBC decides not to show any NHL games on fall Saturdays, they still have multiple Saturday timeslots filled with Ivy, CAA and MLS/HE. And Versus was never a channel that showed live sports noon to midnight like ESPN does. Will NBC Sports Net want to be like that...I don't know. Neither do any of you. They would have to be very foolish to think that they could compete with ESPN immediately. The casual college football fan will look for Notre Dame, the SEC on CBS and whatever's on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 long before they even think about seeing what's on NBC Sports Net. That is, if they even know they have a channel called NBC Sports Net. My father didn't. He didn't think he could watch the NHL playoffs until I told him the NBCSN is just Versus re-branded.
