*RPI in bold for top 100

With 5 games left in the conference season there's a battle for the regular season title and a close grouping of teams fighting for the final spot in the conference tournament where the top 8 qualify. UofL is trying to stay alive while they host St John's. For the tournament, everyone from Notre Dame and up is pretty safe to qualify. Nova, Pitt, and GT are fighting for the final post-season spot.

Fred Hill Jr. got fired for an incident that happened at a Pitt-Rutgers baseball game in 2010.

USF beat UConn tonight 3-0 to move into either sole possession of 3rd place or potentially a tie for 2nd place. I'm pretty sure that locks up a bid to the Big East tournament. Thank God, since it's in our backyard -____-

USF completed a sweep of UConn today 8-3, to move to 16-8 in Big East play. USF will go into the final weekend series in Morgantown with at least a share of 2nd place and 1 or 2 games out of 1st pending the Louisville/St. Johns game.

UofL handed St John's their first series loss of the conference season by winning again today. St John's has a 1 game lead over UofL and USF with 3 games to play. St John's has a much tougher final opponent than the Cards or Bulls.

For seeding purposes Louisville has the tiebreaker over both and St John's has the advantage over USF.
