This is very true, we dont have many rules on there.

Rowdytalk is a great board, but most of the guys seem to be focused on their own lives until sports season rolls around. Then the board really blows up. But yes, very lax on rules while still very loyal to UTSA.

RE: Other UTSA Fan Forums
I rarely go to rowdycille because there are rarely new posts. Rowdytalk was busy for a while but has really slowed down. CNSbbs is good but now is starting baseball talk (yawn). What are the blogs you mention?

I frequent the Cokerchronicles and el convo. They are usually well written and sometimes you can find new info there. They are both linked through rowdyville. Im sure there are others, but I couldnt tell you much about them.

Oh, the Dan Mcarney blog from the SA express news is actually really good, but his info tends to be old if you read the forums daily. He is though, a reliable source, so if he says it, then it must be true.

I try to visit all of them. I think the traffic will pick up again once football season comes along.

We need to consolidate some of these forums...way too many, but I guess we should be happy people are interested in UTSA! We used to just have a board on the Spurs website lol

Combine rowdytalk with rowdyville. By no means let that kid from rowdyville run the new forum and we should have something great.

IRS news based board
Rowdytalkville our own space
CSNbbs a place to share our experiences with the rest of CUSA and also pick fights.

lebomb kept that forum active for awhile despite the ridicule from t-shirt fans of other texas schools.

Yeah we tried but it just got old and annoying over time. Myself and lebomb really wanted our own true forums. Sure enough, here we are. :).

Just a quick bump now that we're getting really close to football season. For the new guys on the block, check out RowdyTalk.com if you're looking for a free site that pretty much let's you speak your mind and bleeds orange and blue. 04-rock

Yep, great site aside from the occasional outsiders who infiltrate our ranks from other schools (Cougar King especially)...lol.

One that I don't see mentioned often is Roadrunnernation.com. Seems to be a pretty decent site with a lot of potential. Definitely has a nice layout.

RE: Other UTSA Fan Forums
The recruiting sites are great but I would encourage you to unite around one forum. RowdyTalk is already more active than forums for several schools that have played sports for decades. I hate when I'm trying to find opposing fans to chat with an there aren't more than 3 or 4 on each forum.

RE: Other UTSA Fan Forums
Bump to update the first post. To outsiders: we have a pretty active fan base online and I wouldn't want anyone misconstruing what they (don't) see here.

Three most active forums now:

RowdyTalk - free fan site. Plenty on football, but also open discussion on all sports and UTSA news.

InsideUTSA - Rivals / Yahoo Sports recruiting site. Subscription based, but lots of content.

Inside Runner Sports - Scout / Fox Sports Next recruiting site. Subscription based, but lots of content.
