Galifanakis went to school at NC State and apparently he filmed the scene in an ECU jersey and NC State jersey and ECU gave him permission to use it and NC State did not.

That movie looks like it'll be good.

Daniel Tosh went to UCF and UCF allows him to wear their gear. It's freaking free PR and NCSux was too stupid to agree to it

He wears a lot of UCF stuff though. The point is, this is free PR as everyone who sees the movie and commercials will see EAST CAROLINA on a purple football jersey. Regardless of the fictional character and their behavior in the film, why would a school say no? Oh yeah that's right cause NC State is worrying about winning that ACC Football championship right?
