You could say the same thing about FSU. More alumni in Atlanta than anyone outside of Florida. Of course we know North Carolina runs this conference so they can't have this go against them.

FSU/GT and UNC/GT. Which do you think was the better football rivalry before ACC expansion in 2004?

Then again it should be a N/S split with Miami in the North anyways.

Once again, N/S split with Miami in the North solves your problems too. Those are the divisions that make most sense from a rivalry standpoint.

Cozy division with most years not having to make a trip to the barren recruiting grounds of NY and NE, plus every other year trips to the great recruiting areas of Georgia, South Florida, and Western PA. Seems a shame it's wasted on a program that couldn't win more than 8 games with members of both the coaching staff, and academic hierarchy cheating for them.

Nobody expects much from the 4 NC schools in regards to football. most rational folks expect that in the major revenue producing sport there aren't but a few ACC schools who are going to produce on a better than average basis....FSU, Miami VT, Clemson, and GT. Nobody expects UNC to produce anything in football because they haven't done jack **** since 1980
