The CUSA article was about the new program at UAB under a native Tulsan.

I wonder if these postings have an effect on TU getting better numbers or if its the new beat writer? Probably the new beat guy. Either way, it doesn't matter as long as someone in the media "changes" the way things have been done in the past. That makes this worth it IMO.

Because of the terrible circumstances of the D Walker injury, most of the articles in the TW somewhat concerned that (and rightly so), but Kleins story today couldn't be counted as a TU article since there was actually very little about the game. I counted it as a CUSA story. Both CUSA story lines today were about the injury. Question: If you weren't actually "at" the game, are you qualified to write about it? Can you just get this stuff on the tube and become an expert?

One of the articles (about personell matchups) was very short - maybe a sentence(?), but was counted. Also OU is off this week and that opens some extra space for other teams and storylines.

I am pleasantly surprised at the skill of our beat writers - Haisten and Averill - with the insight of the stories. IMO thats an improvement over the normal talking points everyone already knows. IMO.
