Nevermind, its not the game. This Pac-12 TV sucks for Houston fans.

Your not missing anything. I'm at a sports bar that has the game. 17 to 0 UCLA. The game isn't as close as the score so far. The Coog offense is terrible. The defense has just been bad.

The problem is our offense... our defense is not getting enough rest.

Our receivers don't receive very well. A ridiculous number of drops.

We need need to score on this drive... at least 3 points.

Well....it's not as bad as I feared. We at least moved the ball a bit late in the half. Drops are killing us...including Hayden. He would have 3 or 4 interceptions if he could catch.

They just showed first half highlights of this game during the half of BYU-Utah. The quote in regards to UCLA was "it's amazing how different a team can look with a new coach and a different attitude."

They could have been referring to Houston as well.

I can't believe how far UH has fallen in one year....wow

new coach, new qb etc....it's tough. reminds me of UC in 2010...year after BK left to nd and Pike and Gilyard graduated etc.

The QB has actually looked quite good. The receivers look like defensive players. There have been at least 8-10 drops in just this half. The recievers look awful. When they catch the ball we look good. When they don't....it's 3 and out. The defense looks better than they have all year (given up 17 points and 300 yards in the first half--but they also have a couple turnovers)..but thats not really saying much. that said, had they played like this in weeks one and two we would probably be 2 and 0.

Agree... Piland is playing quite well considering Sims a no show... if we are to go 3 and out, at least take a little more time off the clock so our defense get a bit more rest.

Well, Piland pretty much regressed in the second half....the Levine era is looking a little too much like the Dimel era.

The offensive and defensive coordinators were both joke hires---thats obvious. The jury is still out on Levine---i'm not ready to say he is a bad hire just yet. It's not looking good so far. Right now UNLV looks like a better team....pretty sobering thought. That said, I think Sumlin started out 0-3 or 0-4....so let's see how the season progresses.
