I don't know why anybody is surprised. Remember CNN agreed with Saddam in Iraq not to report certain things if they wanted to stay in his country.

Ethics is just a word to them, meaning nothing.

It wouldn't surprise me if this were true but it also seems to be something that has been going on for as long as they have been on the air. In other words, with both Bush presidents, Clinton and Obama. And if Romney wins, then I suspect it will continue under his administration.

I guess this is how they've always continued to turn a profit even with declining viewership.

Yeah, but they weren't getting "paid" to do it, MHB...

It was just as bad, but if I read this right, this is WORSE. How can you report on a govt that's giving you money?
