I realize this is anecdotal but in 2008 I couldn't avoid Obama signs and people raving about Obama. I just don't see it this year, at least where I live.

Anyway, please post RESULTS as they come in. Please post the pretty graphs and charts showing how Globama will win all 50 states and is the worlds president in other threads.

EDIT: Here is a link showing the electoral map and voting results.

I thought they didn't release results until polls were closed.

Anyway traffic was really light today coming to work, as I mentioned, polls in VA opened at 0600.

I've overheard conversations at work discussing politics, but no-one has actually committed or revealed their choice.

I brought in my BGSU flag some weeks back prior to the VPI game, so everyone knows where I stand.

Romney and Ryan?

Its from the Simpsons.
I thought they were from Futurama? I guess if they are from the Simpsons, that explains why I don't watch it anymore.

It's not like they are new characters.

They don't but it makes for some good fun until then and I like not having to peruse various threads to find information.

True story, I usually get a lot of my news from here. Its usually more relevant and vetted than whats on TV.
03-lmfao Gee. I couldn't tell you get most of your news from rightwing biased opinion pieces.

Well, since they were introduced in like season 2, I'm thinking you havent watched them since they were on the Tracey Ullman Show.

Too bad you don't have cable or a TV. You only have Internet because you live next to a Bugerking.

Voted (wrote in... bah, Michigan) Gary Johnson this morning, and will sleep better at night knowing I was true to myself and my conscience.

Voted for GOP treasurer, county exec and sheriff, and for a Democrat state representative.

For those in MI, I voted Yes on the first proposal, No on everything else.

RE: OFFICIAL THREAD OF ELECTION 2012....
here's one for you: It's unconfirmed, so take it with a grain of salt

REPORT: A woman in a Detroit polling location was aggressively campaigning for Obama. A female voter in line objected. The Obama supporter punched the woman in the face. Police came to arrest her and she smacked the cop.

RE: OFFICIAL THREAD OF ELECTION 2012....
Results from GTS land or of interest:
My county sheriff (GOP) is so popular he ran unopposed.
My county coroner (GOP) is so popular he ran unopposed.

My state senator endorsed Ron Paul and is probably the 2nd most conservative member of the Assembly in the entire state. He defeated a well financed liberal RINO lawyer who use to hold the same seat in the primary handily (20 points). My state senator kept remarking he was blown away by the Ron Paul grassroots. He'd open random letters from California, Colorado, Montana, etc and get checks for $1,000 and $2,000. He is running against a Democrat. He may win by 40 points.

My state representative is in the tank for big education and is employed by the same. He banded together with the rest of the RINOs in my county delegation to kill the best school choice bill in the country this session. It would have passed and been signed into law had it escaped the House. He's facing a petition candidate* who is FAR more conservative, pro school choice, and RLC endorsed. I feel like my state has been getting increasingly good at purging RINOs, and I'd like to see this be another step in that direction. Last cycle we eliminated EVERYBODY in our Congressional delegation who voted for TARP. My US House district (SC-4) proudly defeated Bob Inglis in a primary.

And lastly, hopefully 5% for Gary Johnson for federal funds and automatic ballot access.
