I told you it would be a close game. Your kids showed a lot of heart
at home.

Good luck the rest of the way. 04-cheers

thanks bambu....

You guys have a good team...good luck. We just don't have the horses this year. Reminds me of 2002-03 when we won 17 games. I'd say our goal this year is just making the Big Dance. We'll see.

It's more than not having the horses. This team is lost on both ends of the floor.

right...we don't have the horses.....the kids we have are lacking in the talant department vs. what we are used to seeing.....and their decision making is poor. Hopefully as they play some more they can do a little better job in shot selections. McGowen's shot selection is KILLING us inside. Seems like when Downey has the ball good things happen but because he's a frosh. he makes mistakes from time to time......nothing seems to be going for us now. We all said it would be a tough year and it is. So, nobody should be shocked by this.

Congrats, Bambu. You guys are simply a much better team than we are. And no need to praise us for playing hard. I expected as much, especially after the game earlier this week.

No answer for Williams is the bottom line, but it would have nice had we covered him now and then. The shot clock violation was the key point, and your defense got it done.

Enjoyed watching Downey vs. DWash 04-cheers

As Carl says, we're lost on both ends of the floor, although it has usually been the case on O-fense, with or without Huggs. Difference now is, that we don't have the O-fensive rebounding.

Congrats to Coach Cali-PEAR-i and your team :D

Freshman or not, you guys are right. That Downey kid is a killer.
Let him learn on the job, 'cause that kid needs to play a lot.

I know we can say "what if" all day but man, I would like to have seen Tyree Evans/Vince Banks in the backcourt with Downey...that would have been a killer guard combo!!!

Honestly, I think right now the team misses Abdul more then Tyree or VB. Whether he's a worldbeater or not, Hicks needs to be able to rest sometime and Abdul would add some needed size and minutes.

The NCAA needs to get a clue and pull it's head out of its collective @$$. This team has some scorers, but they need somebody that can come in and play 10 minutes inside and add some height.

No doubt O, and this will be a problem all year long. We are going to get killed this year.

I heard Abdul sucked and looked lost in the summer league and he was a "project".........still, I agree, I would take him right about now.

We really miss that sure-fire three point shooter. We usually have at least one....Van Exel, Burton, Baker, Logan, Williams, Bobbit....we usually have that one guard that can really nail the three ball.......

We have a bunch of guys who can hit a three but no prolific three point shooter that I've seen. And yes, Hicks has nobody to give him a rest inside.

This is a tough year but exciting...let's see how they do.....

It would be nice if they could get Allen more dedicated to playing inside on both ends of the court. He's still hitting the weights, but he needs to quit trying to be a 6'9" SF and start being a 6'9" interior player for this team to have a good chance.

Agreed O 04-bow Even with five fouls in five minutes, Abdul would be giving Hicks five minutes of rest - five more minutes than he's getting now.

I really thought UC would be albe to exploit the foulouts of Dorsey and Cooper, but then I saw how winded Eric was and thought otherwise.

That was hugely evident today.

Shawne Williams has been everything expected and more. He had 19 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks in 19 minutes!!!!

I love this fark of NZ!!!!
