I wonder why they put Vance McDonald at 1st TE over Gator Hoskins... Doesn't make any sense to me.

2nd leading tackler in FBS but only 2nd team C-USA. Marvin Burdette

Guess there was a good group of LBs in conference this year.

One player. Good God, Ellis Johnson. It's your final parting gift.

RE: CUSA All-Conference Teams
The big gripes for me are I think a guy like Will Simmons should have made first team and Terry Williams making no team and not even being an honorable mention is idiotic. He's ECU's best DL by a landslide.

McDonald was hurt a bit (he missed 3 games) but he had the exact same number of catches as Hoskins and more receiving yards. Yes, Hoskins scored 10 TD's (compared to just 2 for McDonald) but McDonald has been a scoring machine his whole career (13 TD's his sophomore and junior years). He's been invited to the Senior Bowl and is a legitimate NFL prospect. Considering that was Rice's only offensive all-conference performer, I think it's a good call.

And it wasn't even his "golden child"... it was the "Defensive end who'd never make it in the SEC as a DE.)

Having watched him closely all season, I can confirm Jamie is well-qualified to be a greeter at most Wal Marts with only minimal special accommodations.

How does Marshall punter Tyler Williams, a semi-finalist for the Ray Guy award, not make first team?
