I really hope ODU and UAB get back to their old form before next year.

Next year the league will really have to rely on Charlotte, ODU, UAB, Marshall, Tulsa and UTEP to be strong if we are going to look at multiple bids.

If UNT gets Tony Mitchell back and some of the players that were injured/ineligible this season, they could be a contender as well, but they're having a rough year so far this year.

Just remember Charlotte has not been to the NCAA since leaving C-USA 1.0 in a multiple bid and better league

I think we would have been an NCAA team this year had we not had an unbelievable amount of D1 transfers and academic casualities (6). We will struggle to win 5-6 games this year unfortunately. But we should be much better next year.

We're well aware of that and openly admit we've sucked. Looks as though now, with Major's system implemented and having his players, we are moving in the correct direction. Moving to CUSA will be noticeably softer conference schedule compared to what we've been through in the A10.

Also, touting a 100 RPI at ECU is a sham, if you were playing RPI anchors instead of non-D1 games, your RPI would be much lower.

#46 SMU 7-1
#65 UCF 3-2
#100 ECU 3-1
#103 USM 6-2
#137 UAB 3-4
#152 Memphis 4-2
#167 Tulane 6-2
#172 Tulsa 3-3
#188 UTEP 2-4
#190 Houston 5-2
#233 Marshall 4-3
#308 Rice 1-4

SMU hasn't really played anybody, I guess they finish in the 100s
UCF will probably stay in contention
ECU we'll be in the top 100 this year as we play a tough OOC from here on out and most of the anchors are in the west (we play them only once)
USM should rise
UAB not sure yet
Memphis will rise once they get in conference and gathers more wins
Tulane not sure yet
Tulsa not sure yet
UTEP will fall
Houston likely rise
Marshall hopefully rise
Rice waiting for Baseball
I am hoping our's and the conference RPI rises by next sat ( Louisville comes to town) :-)

Wow...You Charlotte guys are a trip, your obsession with ECU is funny as hell. Kind of reminds me of years past with UCF. It seems like every time one you guys make a post you to take a shot and ECU and try and tear us down. How about you just worry about yourselves...You have a very good basketball team this year and you physically handed it to us, no doubt....But our season is not over and I think our soft early season schedule did not prepare us to play a team like UNC-Charlotte. I still think we have a pretty good team and I trust in Lebo to get things corrected...What has been killing us more than anything this season is our outside shoot, we have to get that corrected and if we do we are going to be a tough out in CUSA play.

FWIW and almost meaningless at this time, the Tiger official website shows the Tigers with a 29 RPI rank after our win over Ohio.

See page two.

I'm pretty sure he was just responding to the shot someone from ECU took at our last ten or so years. Wasn't like he quoted a Tulsa fan and said something about the Pirates.
