Lemmi: Here is Thomas' reply to my note
...Per my Hire Andy Kennedy Now thread. Sounds like they want to keep their oprions open. About what I expected. At least he seems to recognize the improtance of this decision. Also, kinda nice that the guy got back to me personally in just a couple of days. That says something about the guy's professionalism.
[b]Dear Tony:
Thank you for your continued support and interest in the University of Cincinnati Athletics program. As you can probably imagine, the process of solidifying the future of our men

Nice job Rathskellar. I am behind AK too and will send a note to Mike Thomas. Did you happen to keep that email address (might be good to put it up here again anyway).

snailmail. But if you want to reach him, his assistant is the point of contact for e-mails (and they do make it to him as long as they are not a bunch of garbage). Got that from the source.

Jarr- What makes you think he is a snake?...have you personlly met him? had business dealings with him? know of some hidden secrets? or are you just judging him because he was hired during Zimpher's watch? Because he's been on the job a month and has'nt shake down the foundation of the athletic department?

Or is it his peculiar S-movement gait, his vertical slit eyes or his vestigial legs?

Hi, my name is jarr and I am a sadsack.
HI JARR
Hi everyone, yep, ever since Bob Huggins got fired my life has been in ruin. All I do is mope around message boards with a bad attitude, whining and crying and making fun of others to make myself feel better. I mean come on people, can't you see my pain, Huggs was the greatest coach ever in the history of all that is sports. We can never survive without him. They should just ban the whole sport all together because college basketball will never be the same without Huggs as our coach.
Now where are my pills?

Why should Thomas even respond when everything he says is going to be questioned, immediately dismissed, or distorted.

I think Mike's response was 100% correct. This decision is too important to not look at all of the options. But he needs to have a good idea by the beginning of March which option he wants to persue.

I thought name calling was childish???
Or....is it just childish if the person who is name calling has a point that differs from yours?

Childish name calling of other posters that causes lame message board arguments are not allowed.
Calling people names that are not here to defend themselves is fine. ;-)

Sure, but it will only cause you further abuse.

I like Mike Thomas' response, I would give the same counsel. Let's wait and see who is available in March. Another fourmonths isn't going to change anything.

I would think that Mike Thomas's replies will be the same letter sent to anyone that asks about hiring A.K. Nancy Z. and Phil Cox sent identical replies to their letters from me and I realized that they don't give a damn about letters unless they feel threatened or think one is harrassing them. It is pretty disheartening when you send a letter to the Prez and the BOT's and then you get the same form letter from each. That is about as rude as one can get with the fans. They are so full of themselves that they cannot stand themselves.

Rathskeller, thanks a lot for posting MT's response. I'm impressed that he took the time to offer you an original (i.e. NOT canned) response. How many people on the current UC administration can we say that about? Nice to hear his positive words about how important the next coaching hire will be. Seems to me like he cares for UC Athletics.
Too anyone who bashes Thomas' or his response: As Waco noted, how the hell can he win? He says nothing, you hammer him. He explains the importance of the next coaching hire, you still hammer him
