ESPN ACC Blog Question
Anyone know when Pitt and SU will be a part of the ACC blog? Will it happen after the bowl season or not until July?

You would think that come mid-January, any news out of Pitt and Cuse would be ACC news.

RE: ESPN ACC Blog Question
I looked at when Nebraska and Colorado left the Big 12- it was like Feb 10. Kind of surprised that late, given the signing day is before that....

RE: ESPN ACC Blog Question
ESPN needs to maintain the appearance of neutrality. I would expect the bulk of the stories to be on the BE site until the move is official.

totally disagree... Once Jan 1 passes and the football season ends, what does Syracuse or Pittsburgh football really have to do with the Big East at that point?

Not sure but it'll be awkward to see Big East tourney results in the ACC blog.

I'd hope ESPN and others would wait until July unless its football preview or recruiting info news.

RE: ESPN ACC Blog Question
I'd be shocked if they move them before basketball season is over, and I wouldn't be surprised if they wait until 7/1/13.

That is what I meant. Stories about current sports will likely be on the BE side. You might get a short blurb like "future ACC member X is 15-15 in BE play." The number of stories about completed sports will drop significantly and some of those might make their way to the ACC side.

That's what they did with WVU. I remember the day that the BE traded WVU for Temple. It was a sad day for the conference.

RE: ESPN ACC Blog Question
The OP was talking I believe about the ESPN college football blog. So, after the bowl season is complete, anything about Pitt and Syracuse should be on the ACC blog, just like anything from Houston, SMU, Memphis, UCF, Boise, and SDSU should be on the Big East Blog- for football....
