Does anyone know who or where Southern Miss is leaning as far as the new head football coach?

The committee has been very quiet. Good thing is, we are definitely not dealing with a Tennessee type situation. There is a ton of interest in the job from a variety of candidates.

Just rumors nothing solid. Interviews started yesterday.

Anything you have heard to this point is pure speculation.

Heard Texas Tech's Neil Brown was interviewing for a HC job in the south this week. That y'all or us?

I would assume it was for USM.....since la tech just lost their coach it may take a couple of days to schedule interviews.

Honestly, I think Tech could've been heads up and knew this was coming and might of been planning ahead. But of course look at our AD...
