Surely not the ACC...we're going to lose everyone but Louisville and Wake Forrest by next Tuesday. Then replace them by merging with the CAA. I don't think Penn State would want any part of that 03-razz

May be Penn State saw an opening to create their LONG wanted Eastern Football conference with all the instability with conferences may be they thought they could pick anyone off to join? *shrug*

I've heard that Joe Pa threw out the idea of Penn St to the ACC before. I'm sure with the way they were piled on by the Big Ten that a league with Pitt, Syracuse and Maryland was looking good... oh, well.
