I corrected the posters saying that the Acc deal is averaging $17 million over the life of the deal. The usual suspects come out and make it into a big deal and that the Acc isnt getting that much up front. Well no kidding, But they just wont admit that the average is $17 million. They want to harp on what its paying out now. Never mind that in later years, the league will make much more than 17 million per team. One guy pretty much called me a liar when I said that with Pitt/SU, the Acc was able to reopen its deal and get $17 million per team. What a bunch of envious sore losers over there. Theres no reasoning with haters.
I was going to jump in but I just can't take the inevitable hate spewed from the C-USA, MWC, and MAC/A10 fans.
BigLEastHomer is the absolute worst. Just a complete and utter jerk. Can't believe the mods there allow him to post his nonsense.
I wonder how many times the C-USA guys will have to change their signatures to reflect the current membership.
I'll be taking the bait again soon, so I can shut it down like Dirk:
Now that 'Cuse, Pitt, and UL are out, the UC fans are (for the most part) the only ones worth talking to. Most of the rest are a combo of delusional, desperate, and/or down-right demented. There is a lot of bitterness on that board.
I'm not sold that UC is a great fit for the ACC, but I do hope that you guys end up somewhere nice. You guys deserve it. UC has great teams and great fans.

That's why I left as soon as Rutgers was official.

Brista you are always welcomed here... The B1G board looks a tad sparse still...This board is starting to hop.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was on draft. Those are just the bottled beers you can grab from the walls. They have over 200 more on draft. It's pretty much Willy Wonka for adults lol
Oh, I was messin' with my 'Cuse buddies. They know those Skunky Brews. Lol!
Utica Club...is very underrated. A fine light pilsner for the $$$.

Leaving out Saranac is fightin' words (or lack thereof)!

The only real pertinent info is in the first paragraph (which is short). The rest is just a list of beers they have. They're alphabetical so I thought the out of towners might like to reference it for stuff they like but may not be able to get elsewhere. My apologies.
I am now officially impressed with Sergio's. It is listed as one of the few retailers in the US that will carry the Best Beer in the World -- Westvleteren 12 -- on sale today (12/12/12) for the first time ever in the US for a limited time only. $85/six pack.
Sergios is on point. One of my favorite parts is you can take whatever beer you want up to the bar and they will find the appropriate glass and pour it for you. They also have a corner just filled with boxes so you can grab those and mix and match your own cases. I've seen a lot of places do "make your own 6 pack" but they will let take home cases upon cases of whatever you want. The food is pretty good too! VERY knowledgable staff. Sergio himself is from Brazil so he's always got a good tale to tell!

The irony is that UC and Georgetown are now the most important schools left in the conference. After that it's BSU and UCONN, then Marquette and USF.

Yep. I guess it is our turn now to take the hate, hopefully that means the end is near

If it's so bad that Boise St and San Diego St leave, I'll be CUSA + Temple Navy and UConn. How this conference can even be worth $5 million a year to all sports members, I don't see it. The CUSA TV deal wasn't but $1 million per school. How can this group be worth 5 times that?
