Louisville 2013 ACC Schedule if Louisville goes this year (Link)
From the blog:
"While Maryland is likely to try to leave the ACC early – 2013 instead of 2014 – ACC Commish John Swofford is on record saying that his league will welcome they Cards whenever UofL and the Big East agree. UofL AD Tom Jurich said that the move is possible, but not likely. What we do know is that the Cards will take Maryland’s place and schedule in the ACC’s toughest division, the Atlantic, and that their annual cross-division opponent will be Virginia. In the off-time until the Sugar Bowl, let’s take a look at what would be UofL’s 2013 slate if the move to the ACC can be made a year early."
Home Games
-Ohio, Eastern Kentucky, FIU, Virginia, Clemson, Boston College, Syracuse
Road Games
-Kentucky, Florida State, NC State, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest

Outside of Clemson, that is a snoozer of a home schedule. The next season will look much better.

Boston College is awful. I was at PJCS the last time BC came to town. Wasn't a big deal then and it won't be now. Cuse, yes we owe them a beat down, but until they become a major player again, they rank only a little higher than BC in the excitement department. Clemson is definitely an upgrade so no complaints there.

I thought the last time BC was here we were playing in old Cardinal stadium. I was there and the BC place kickers came out practicing FG's during our halftime activities and woke up the fans and the team in the second half.

That's why U of L needs to be on the phone w/ UVa, VT and BC to broker a swap of cross-over partners. Wouldn't this home schedule look better?

I'm not sure I want us playing VT, FSU, and Clemson every single year. That might be too tough especially during the seasons where we rotate Notre Dame onto the schedule and play Miami too. That could be brutal.

welcome to the big leagues.
VT 2012 schedule included: GT, Pitt, Cincy, Clemson, Miami, FSU
VT 2013 schedule expected to include: Alabama, GT, Miami, FSU, Pitt, and maybe U of L

I'm talking about playing a lame duck 2013 Big East schedule. Sign me up for the ACC next year all day long.

You won't be playing VT, FSU, and Clemson every year. Virginia was Maryland's cross division rival so if you are just plugged into their spot you'll be playing Virginia, FSU, and Clemson each year.

Yeah we know. We were speculating on if we could switch Virginia out for Virginia Tech as our cross division rival. I am fine with Virginia as a cross division rival. The Cavaliers can have decent teams from time to time.

The only game I care about in 2013 is the end of year game in a BCS Bowl...than @ worse off to the ACC.

I guess this was just released today?
Louisville 2013 Big East football schedule:
Home: UCF, Memphis, Rutgers, San Diego State.
Away: Boise State, Cincinnati, UConn, USF
Memphis & Rutgers at home. Could've been worse. I'm sure it's no coincidence that both U of L and RU travel to Boise St next Fall...?

Boise trip not so bad, heck BYU, BSU played a snoozer there this season. Heck the BE might not be there next year if the 7 BB schools bail out .
