get there tournament credits back?

I ask this because there's a big thread on the BE board about the catholic schools meeting to discuss leaving the BE and there's disagreement about whether or not they could dissolve the conference before the new members arrive.

NCAA rules don't specify (at least, I couldn't find it) what would happen in this case, though it does indicate that if a conference falls below 6 members that the units are only retained for 1 year instead of 6. So I would assume that if this happened, those units would simply be lost and all other shares would become more valuable (thus helping all conferences, not just the ACC).

I thought I read somewhere that they did but that was probably an unreferenced post.

I don't see the schools giving up that money. They will work out some deal where the CYO keeps the BE name and shares the credits.

That's how I've always understood it to work, however, it may be a moot point, Temple AD is being quoted as saying they had full voting rights as of Jul 1.

What happens when we mail the check with the exit fees to the BE HQ in Providence, and it comes back "Return to Sender, No Forwarding Address". ???

They return to the schools that earned them if the league drops below 3 I think.

Apparently Temple can vote, meaning basketball schools no longer have the voting majority. Maybe they voted Tulane in because I sure as hell don't know who did.

You go to that Italian place on main street. Break out your best Bogart accent and ask to speak to Johnny. Tell them you are there to pay your debt. Be sure to end every sentence with "see." If they offer, you should probably refuse the wine.
