My mom went through Chemo Therapy over the past 2 months. She has a CT scan in a week and then the day after Christmas I gotta take her to see the Dr to see the results. Hoping for a belated Christmas gift for sure.

Just completely my first semester today. So i guess that means yinz will see a little more of me on the boards. pc

My mom is a lung cancer survivor (almost 8 years). Pray a lot.....it works!

The Big C is quite a roller-coaster ride. September 2011 my spouse was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer Stage 2B. After pre-chemo, an 11 hour Whipple, post chemo and radiation treatments we were glad to hear we are cancer free. But, it's an aggressive cancer that can jump to other organs so they will be monitoring things closely over the next two years.

Also Neil, sorry to hear about your wife. Glad to see that she's cancer free. What a terrible scourge on our society this cancer is. It has affected my family as well, but it seems like there has been a complete recovery so far.
