West - Houston, SMU, Tulsa, Tulane, USM, Memphis
East - ECU, UCF, USF, Temple, Cincy, Navy (FB)

NO reason at all to go beyond 12 with this line up. This is actually very similar to what I hope for in the long run. Not sure if Navy would stick around but I'd swap them for Marshall if they won't. IMO USF and Cincy aren't going anywhere.

I'd like to think LaTech would be an option if this were to occur

I don't think there is a pot of gold in the Big East, but I do think the Big East is going to look close to original C-USA. Basically moving at this point just keeps ECU in the same position it was a decade ago, but that's better than the alternative. Sure I wish all C-USA schools had told the Big East no, but at this point so many have said yes that C-USA doesn't look like C-USA anymore.

Typical defector drivel.

Noodles proclaimed he was finished Southern Miss football during last season. Now he tells us what we should think, believe and feel. Laughable.

But not as laughable as saying programs left to get away from us. Reads alot like StillJonesing.

Yea.. Honestly some of the things our fans have posted in the last week in regards to realignment, kinda makes us as a whole sound a little butthurt.

It's a shame because we own 5 C-USA football championships and we'll be just tossing that record book aside (if and when we get picked). And Big East football records are a joke because of the changing membership.

nBE = C-USA 3.0

C-USA = Sunbelt 2.0

MWC = WAC 4.0

It makes me wish conferences could swap names.

Gentlemen, ODU joined CUSA because the liked the atheltic programs that each university offered, as well as the overall conference academic standing.

This jumping into the BE may end up a farce. With the 7 catholic schools bolting, the revenue sharing will be less than CUSA. Heck, the BE may not even be a conference by the end of the week.

Therefore, I personally hope the universities take a good look at the situation, and the new schools joining. They would likely be happy to remain where they are. Don't let the fact that the BE didn't invite you hurt your feelings. Do you really want to visit Boise, Idaho? That's definately not regional.....

Stay and be happy!
