Can't say I'm upset over him leaving. Best of luck to him tho.

My top choices...

1. Tomsula or Austin - not happening though
2. Partridge
3. Orlando

I like the hire -- Hux used to coach at ECU under Steve Logan and I thought he was a good part of the staff.

I liked the way the defense improved this year after awful showings early in the season. I think that's a testament to Huxtable's talent as a DC. It's sad to see him go in a way but I am confident that Chryst will find a suitable replacement.

Isn't Mike Archer NCSt's current DC? What's going to happen to him? How about John Tenuta - DC under Weis and current NC St LB coach? I guess we'll find out soon enough

Doeren is virtually cleaning house here in Raleigh, retaining only one coach from the O'Brien regime (Kitchings as RB coach).

I saw that. Don't know much about him. Somebody should reach out to Irish Terry?

Don't know much about him either. Seems to have a decent resume. Definitely a darkhorse candidate that I wouldn't mind seeing Chryst take a chance on.

RE: Hux to NCSU
I wouldn't be surprised at all if it is him. He coached with Chryst at Wisconsin for three years with Chryst. That seems to be a big deal to him. Also might be why Chryst said he wont announce the new DC until after our bowl game... since that will be around the same time as the Irish / Bama game.

Maybe the interview was already held on the weekend of 11/3/12 in Southbend?
