Unfortunately, it is Brian Mitchell's defense that makes us the underdog. If we want to be competitive in the next year and in the new league, then we need a new DC.

Unfortunately, it is Brian Mitchell's defense that makes us the underdog. If we want to be competitive in the next year and in the new league, then we need a new DC.

What we need is a new secondary and then Mitchell would do just fine as a DC.

If it did happen they would have to put half of Greenville on suicide watch and shut down the Greene St Bridge for a couple of weeks. Meanwhile Coach Ruff and staff would be run out of town. Also I would not come back to this board for at least a year.

Seriously, ODU has a very good FCS program and a pretty solid offense but we will dominate them in the LOS. I expect it to be a lot like the App State game we had this season...They are good enough with their 1st string players to make it interesting but we will wear them down in the 2nd half and pull away. On paper next year should be one the most talented and experienced teams on both sides of the ball that we have put on the field in a long time.
