You think we could contact the Monk about bringing back the flat black helmets this season?

As long as we have the southern miss & feather logo i could go for that. Although id like to see wings kinda like what oregon has on an alt helmet.

Bring back the black 1981 helmet.

Flat black and feather helmets... those ones I REALLY liked.

Part of the rationale for the Oregon helmet with the wings on the sides, was that the logo....the "O".......would be in the back. It was thought that this would give the opposing team the best view of the logo

That could work for us......put wings on the side & the eagle head smack dab in the middle of the back!

But then again Moo U might say we were copying them since a game or two this year they did a flat maroon look on their helmets.

Moo U can have a 5-7 record.
USM can have a 10-2 record.

In the eyes of a Moo U'er, they should get the bowl bid over USM since they had to play Bama.

We did flat black that's ugly and no helmet be a flat color.

They do it and it's the greatest thing ever and anyone else does it is copying.
