Actually the show is Friday night at Champions Square: Beach Boys and Bad Company with former lead singer Brian Howe set to rock the 2012 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Friday Night Concert

Saw them at Jazz Fest this past summer, they are old as crap, but still sound great. I'll be there for sure.

No Brian Wilson... this is the Mike Love version of the Beach Boys. Several original memebrs are alive and they actually just released a new cd with Brian Wilson for the 1st time in like 20 years or so...

I don't hate the Beach Boys or anything, just kinda the same song over and over again. I do hate their Christmas stuff though, and I'm sure there will be a little of that played.

Man, listen to Pet Sounds and dig up some of the Smile tracks. Crazy Brian Wilson Beach Boys are incredible.

Edit: AND Sunflower, along with Dennis Wilson's Pacific Ocean Blue. With the Beach Boys, you have sift through everything and find the gems.

I love the VH1 classic "Beach Boys in Concert" that was filmed in 1980 from somewhere in England. Last time the originals were all together.

Dennis Wilson died several years ago.

Saw the group in Houston this summer and they still sound good. Many backup musicians and singers but the place rocked with both young and old fans.
