Nope. It would stink to lose the game on that one.

ECU has nothing to be ashamed of. There were several good teams in the Sun Belt that lost to Louisiana this year.

RE: GT: ECU vs Ul-L
wow great game. ECU did a good job coming back from a deep hole, but ULL did a good job not letting themselves get discouraged. The TD catch should have been reviewed but wasn't, however it doesn't mean that ULL wouldn't have scored even if it had been overridden. I am impressed with ULL and if they do lose their coach (probably will pretty soon) they found him, they can find another.

Thanks. Great comeback after the first quarter and you almost pulled it out. Unfortunate missed call on the TD, but we still had a 2 point cushion. Hope we get to play again in the future.

We might lose him. But, he's getting almost $1M now, and will get more after this win. He is building something big at UL and his family loves Lafayette. With the new facilities to be built, he could be another Peterson at Boise State. Certainly hope we can keep him. We have him for at least one more year. Should now be able to now get a good replacement if he does leave with back to back 9 win seasons.

Some times a coach will turn down a move because of loyality like Jeff Bower did at Southern Miss. If this guy does leave though, I think he has left a foundation that another good coach will like and be able to build on. I would love to see La.Lafayette in C-USA although I don't know it that is likely or not, but ULL has been on the USM schedule off and on since 1923 so as a Golden Eagle fan, I would welcome a good tough ULL team.

Good game Cajuns....The better prepared team won today. Your coach gave us an opportunity to win the game and we failed to get it done.

I had a thought as the half ended, if things work out that the Big East problems end up causing teams like ECU, Tulane, etc. looking to come back, I would say ECU without any reservations, but Tulane I would say no and invite ULL instead.
You should like him...he is from Brandon, MS. Really nice kid too. He was first team all conference kicker AND punter this past season. He put on 15 pounds of muscle this past offseason and has really increased his leg strength. Did you see that 50 yarder in the first half? He enough length for 60+ yards. NFL scouts have been all over him too, but not many kickers/punters get drafted, but he will definitely have several options as a rookie free agent.
