Gun reform I'd support
Let me preface this by saying I'm a multiple firearm owner including two "assault rifles" (incorrect nomenclature).
Those who house convicted criminals and the mentally incompetent may not possess firearms while the aforementioned residein residence. It would seem to me it wouldn't prevent everything but it's a start. I think that fellow responsible gun owners would tolerate such legislation.

Who makes the decision on "mentally incompetent"? Keep in mind the majority that industry's professionals have a specific agenda.

Why should someone not be able to protect their wife who screwed up years before? Or their special Olympian?

Thats a good question. Personally, I think the bill shouldbe cowrote with mental health professionals. I think the gun safe point is valid but I think people obviously aren't using them. Consequently, they're giving us bad names.

They are frightening. There's a cliche with some truth: people go into that field to find out what's wrong with themselves.
