November 21. Toured the new stadium and watched America's team scrimmage with my 10 year old daughter under the most beautiful skies.

Beating Troy & GTech

Coming from behind to see us beat Southern Miss. That's the first time I've seen UAB win a road game in person since the Troy game in '05. Course, from the Troy game (2nd week of 2005) until the Southern Miss game (9th week of 2012), we'd only won 8 road games.

On a Wednesday afternoon in early november, tweets were sent out that our stadium had been signed over to the University. We flocked over to watch the first practice in the brand new stadium. An experience I'll never forget.

UTEP's defensive hits on Wisconsin's prized running back (Montee Ball). Even sent him to the sideline.
Esp considering UTEP history of soft defenses. The hard hitting vs. Oklahoma and Wisconsin was a real treat.

When it was over

when the final second ticked off the clock of Mike Price's career. Go coach Kugler!

This is just a casual observation of Mike Price, but I've never seen a coach that appeared so disconnected from what was happening on the field. Watching him on the sideline, he looked like a very interested observer but not like a coach that was in charge of what was happening. I just found his sideline actions and demeanor to appear bizarre.

There literally wasn't one. there was no moment, no event, no promising or exciting artifact of southern miss football that any of us could call a "favorite". And I'm not sure any of us really mean it when we say that firing EJ was a "favorite" moment. It was unpleasant but necessary business that had to be done.

watching the clock tick down to zero at Memphis was a relief, but it can't be viewed as a "favorite" anything.

the season was a 13 week long root canal. There is no favorite moment of a root canal.

Mine was Colby Cameron setting the completions without an interception record or when Kenneth Dixon broke Marshall Faulk's freshman rushing touchdown record. The rest was a blur of offense and terrible defense.
