For CUSA/West, lots of nonconference games with MWC and probably a couple good bowl games. Armed Forces Bowl plus one more, perhaps. Tulsa already has or will played Fresno State, New Mexico, and Colorado State in the next few seasons. UTSA has already scheduled some MWC teams too.

Dito for CUSA/East with truncated Nbe plus leftover ACC schools.

Good things come to those who wait?!?!

I still think it easier to post the eye-catching record in C-USA than in the nBE or MWC, and thus make the at-large entry into the big dollar bowl game. The MAC trumped everyone this year, and Houston was the USM championship game short of playing in the Sugar last year on a relatively weak schedule.

MWC looks like a future-airport-meeting-in-the-making with BYU and Boise State having special contract terms, 14 mouths to feed, and some programs that might not pull their weight.

Tallgrass, are you asking a question, making an emphatic statement, or asking an emphatic question? The "?!?!" at the end has me confused.

Asked as a question....but, in reality, a question that CUSA's positives have the conference well positioned.

No Conference, other than the SEC, PAC #'s, and B1G are going to come out of this smelling like a rose. Everyone else is truly fighting for the leftovers. The Big 12 and the ACC get the doggie bag, The Big East, CUSA, and MWC fight over the crumbs on the floor, and the SunBelt and MAC get to go dumpster diving.

Fighting. like cooperation, is a choice.

The Macs not fighting for anything but respect. They are about as solid as the SEC just not as good.

Just hoping we do not lose our access to Texas and Louisiana recruits. Wondering if we had better opponents at home would our gametime attendance increase. We are 3rd fiddle in Oklahoma. I hope Coach Blankenship can keep us winning and maybe the citizens will wake up!
