ASU whipped ULL 50-27. Just imagine how bad they would have beaten ECU this year.

Did you see me taking shots at ASU? Hell, Pearl River JC could have beat USM last year. By the way, 27-11. For a program that hasn't beat a FBS team in two years with a winning record, ECU fans shouldn't be taking shots at a team like Ark State. Talk about misguided arrogance.

Think about how much you dislike eLLLLLLLLLLLoss. That is the way that ECU fans feel about JT. I have no problem with Arky State, I just can't stand their interim HC.

I don't actually see any ECU fans taking shots at Arky State....just JT.

You don't think that is a shot at ASU?

Pirateadam is pretty new here and his comment really didn't make much sense. There are a lot of programs that would hire Thompson as DC.

Perhaps GrayBeard could have said "I don't actually see any long time member ECU fans taking shots at A State.....

That he is. We were a top-10 defense when he was here.

...too bad we never found an offense to match...

Meh...I give you it is borderline. I took it as more of ..."If ASU took him as a full time HC, they would be stupid to do so (probably the only school.....)."

I could see where someone might take it as an attack on the program, but I don't think that is what he meant.

RE: Happy for JT, Congrats Redwolves
I was quite surprised they named him interim HC, just because of his quite frankly abysmal track record as a HC, but I'm glad it worked out for ASU. I have respect for ASU and what they have accomplished the last couple of years.
